Children’s Ministry

Myrtle Grove has a wonderful children’s ministry with many opportunities for children of all ages. We have a special child security system in place for your child’s protection. From the time you check your child in with our ministry workers until you check them out you can rest easy.

Nursery
We have an infant and a toddler nursery. The nurseries are recently renovated and staffed with professional child care staff as well as Myrtle Grove volunteers.

Melody Makers

Melody Makers is our children’s choir for children 3-kindergarten. In addition to learning to sing and sign songs Melody Makers features hand bells. The Melody Makers perform during Sunday morning services periodically and have a special Christmas program every year.

King’s Kids

King’s Kids is our children’s choir for children from 1st – 5th grade. King’s Kids perform at services during the year and also participate in our Christmas Cantata.

TeamKID

TeamKID is an exciting, energetic kid’s ministry on Sunday nights. It features games, activities and lessons that teach kids age 3 to 5th grade about Jesus and help them grow spiritually. Each TeamKID will get an activity book and T-shirt with registration. TeamKIDs can earn prizes and awards.
TeamKID meets Sunday 5:30 – 7 PM

VBS

One of the highlights of our year at Myrtle Grove is our Vacation Bible School. Our VBS begins and ends with a rousing time of worship and fun in our sanctuary. In between the kids from pre-school to middle school will rotate through a series of games, crafts, snacks and Bible Study. Last year more than a dozen children prayed to ask Jesus Christ into their life during our VBS.
VBS is held from 6:00 to 9:00 PM for one week each summer.
